New York Show

We had a great trip to market in NY City. There are so many great things out there, it's always hard to make so many decisions in such a short amount of time. I do know there are several things that will be back in full swing for spring including Switch Flops, Hats and great new handbags from Shiraleah. We bought lots & lots of PINK & GREEN for Apple Blossom. The plan it to have it all out and ready by April 1 this year. Stop by soon, we have marked down the few Fall/Winter handbags that we have left. The remainder of last year's SwitchFlops and Straps are 25% Off right now. They have changed the packaging and the design just a little for 2009. REMEMBER Valentines Day is only 2 weeks away and we would love to help you or your significant other out.

I always think I am going to be able to keep up and let you in on new items as they come in - but things just happen to quickly.

We still have a nice selection for Christmas. I will name of few of the best selling items this week:

Fun initial ornaments have been flying out of here - great hostess and teacher gifts - anyone gifts!

There are only a couple of bags/boxes of the Red Rocker Candy left. Stop by soon for a bag of cashew brittle.

Last week we received an order of sterling silver rings from Far Fetched with nice sayings including: Peace comes from within, peace , loved, live in the moment.

We still have handbags, wallets, pouchee purse organizers in several colors.

Stop by we will be getting a new shipment of fashion jewelry on Thursday/Friday and that should round out our merchandise before Christmas.

We are so excited for Christmas this year. The store has so many great new items for holiday shoppers. It's hard for me to pick just a few but I'm going to tell you what I would put at the top of my list this year.

Well, there is snow on the ground this morning it is starting to feel like the Holidays are coming. Yesterday my husband asked me, "Do you realize Thanksgiving is next week?" I must say I was a little dumbfounded. I was thinking I had another week! We have been decorating, buying, selling, changing things around, so yes we are ready -- ARE YOU!

We are getting heavily stocked for Christmas. I've had several people ask me lately, "Will you still have this at Christmas?" - that is a really hard question to answer. I would love to tell you yes, but I also know that it's not possible to keep everything in stock as the season starts. Sooooo, rule of thumb if you see it now, buy it now! We did get a shipment of new handbags and scarves this week and there are some beautiful ones in each catagory. We will try to be fully decorated and set for the shopping season by November 11. I'm so sorry to those of you who are trying to shop online for the latest and greatest additions to the store. If only there were another 10 hours in the day, I think as a new store owner I could get everything done that needs to be done. I unfortunately have not had time to enter new Fall/Winter product, therefore you can not see them when you try to shop online. Now that everything is decorated for the holidays and I'm almost done tagging all of the new items, I will be able to at least take some pictures of areas in the store and if you see something of interest, you can call or email and I will try to get you information about the items.

Just a Peak at the Inside of the Store! We are the Proud new Parents......... I definately could not have done it without my husbands help.......he so multi-talented!

I can't believe the store has already been open two weeks. Things are starting to come together nicely as we get ready for the Hectic Holiday Season! I just wanted to show you a picture of the inside of the store. We are getting new arrivals every week. I'm ready to add some new fixtures for more display space. Our Grand Opening was a HUGE success and Thanks to all of my faithful customers and new customers for attending.

EXCITING NEWS!! Simply Charming has found a new permanent home! No more trying to figure out when the next time I'll be set-up or where I'm going to be at!

Beginning in September, (no firm date as of yet) we will be located at

This is on the Historic Old Town Walking Mall!

I'm so excited.......but there's so much to be done!

Summer is Flying!

It's already July and all I can think about is "Where is summer going?" The month of June was a blur for me - 3 more birthdays, Father's Day, tons of softball, baseball, soccer camp, and lots of jewelry coming & going! I keep thinking I will have time to add new and update my site, but it doesn't look like it will happen this week.... sorry, sorry, sorry! Thanks to all of you that have visited me on the Old Town Winchester Mall. Your continued business and support means a great deal to me.

New Fall items & colors are already starting to arrive! I have some great new green, brown, and black pieces! Lots of new sterling silver & turquoise necklace / earring sets. I also got in approximately 100 new sterling silver rings over the last week! They've already been selling really well.

Happy Birthday to Blake!

Lots going on in our house this week. Blake turned 17 on Thursday, but not before a trip to the Urgent Care on Wednesday night to get stitches inside his mouth from a basketball game. He was told no solid foods for 48 hours...... have you ever tried that with a 17 year old boy on his birthday. Needless to say, we had cake & ice cream and he's feeling much better. I did receive my first order of Far Fetched Jewelry this week. Some beautiful pieces that will be wonderful gifts for anyone, but great for the graduate on your list. I hope to get them all added to the site by early next week.

Graduation Time is Almost Here

Yes, we haven't had our graduations yet! My kids don't get out of school until June 15. Growing up in the Midwest, that is unheard of. My point is, that I will be getting in some great items for graduation gifts. Even though I don't have Personalized Jewelry on the web site yet, I do still carry it and will be able to get something in time for you to give. I will also be getting in some inspirational types of necklaces & bracelets from Far Fetched that will be great graduation gifts (by the end of this week). It will be another busy week, reordering and getting ready for June birthdays, Father's Day and Graduations. I have 4 birthdays to buy for, just in my immediate family, in the next month beginning with Blake's this Thursday. Have a great week and I will keep you posted on new arrivals!
